EGEAC is responsible for managing some of Lisbon’s key cultural spaces and for organising Festas de Lisboa and other street festivals.
For more than 20 years, this municipal company has been promoting cultural activity in Lisbon through its street festivals and management of cultural spaces, including São Luiz Theatre, various museums and art galleries, and monuments such as the Monument to the Discoveries and São Jorge Castle. These cultural spaces are visited by more than 2 million people each year, while close to 1 million participate in activities held in the street. As a key actor in the city, EGEAC provides programming that is multidisciplinary, comprehensive, inclusive and democratic, striving to be an agent that is active and receptive, interacting in both contemporary and popular activities.

Access to administrative documents
Access to and reuse of administrative information held by EGEAC is ensured in accordance with Law No. 26/2016, of 22 August.
In this sense, it is informed that the exercise of the right of access and reuse of administrative documents must be carried out in writing, through a request that contains the essential elements for the identification of the applicant, namely the name, personal or collective identification data, data contact and signature details, as well as identification of the desired documents and data and the purpose for which it is intended, using the application template available here.
The application, once duly completed and signed, must be sent to the person responsible for access to EGEAC administrative documents: Sandra Pires Claro, whose contact is rai@egeac.pt.
The deadline for responding to requests is 10 working days from the date of receipt, as set out in article 15 of Law no. 26/2016, of 22 August.
EGEAC Reporting Channel
The channel is intended for the presentation of complaints about a typified set of matters, whose knowledge of non-compliance may occur or have occurred in the scope of professional activity in the broadest sense. Confidentiality and, if desired, anonymity are guaranteed.
