From 13 to 28 November, Alkantara Festival offers a programme of dance, theatre, performance and encounters, spread across several venues in the city of Lisbon. A place of experimentation, care and encounters, Alkantara Festival presents artistic projects born out of political, cultural and social investigations, and identities, bodies, genders and ages within and outside conventions. Here, places of reflection are nurtured so that knowledge and the senses gain new structures of reference.

At São Luiz, four projects invite us to seek out movements and experiences – in the dark of the theatre, around a bonfire, or from images, objects and landscapes that tell personal stories.
