Marco da Silva Ferreira’s new choreography, for six interpreters, intends to saturate and exponentiate the urban context of hyper-masculine dances, almost simultaneous to the feminist, queer, universe that is very mush the identity model of this time and generation. A work that raises several questions: what kind of sensibility is being built today? What human relationships are we living? What are these communities that are still being valued according to big, strong and fast? Power, sex and control? On stage, virtuous and premeditated dances sustained by the tensions between relationships that end up mainly showing states of human frailty and the magic and intimacy of emotions. The space on stage is also a place of “empowered” figures, and this performance is helped by the concept of performance to give life to “figures” equipped with ugly paraphernalia, that become more raw, vulnerable and beautiful gradually.
