At once aggressors and victims, six boys barricade themselves in a school basement as a form of resistance to a system they believe is against them.
They end up building a ‘fortress’, with an unbalanced ordering of powers and with inequality and violence as their starting point – which is the only language they know. But are they rejecting the system or is it the system that rejects them? Are they creating a fortress, or is the school itself a fortress against them?
