Besides the presentation of the shows, Recuperar o Corpo also includes a public conversation with all the artists and a publication, in order to bring to light works and artists from different generations, and above all to create an object that can remain as a document, as an archive, not only of these solos, but also of the working methods and artistic thoughts of each artist. This publication not only pays homage to several contemporary Portuguese artists, but above all it helps to put on our map the history of contemporary art in Portugal – especially the performing arts, which are intrinsically ephemeral.
