This is the last day of democracy. With its extinction, access to any form of expression and free thought also disappears. Consequently, this will be the last show the public has the opportunity to see. This is the scenario created by João Pedro Leal, Eduardo Molina and Marco Mendonça in Cordyceps Império. Without dramatisations about the tragic and inevitable outcome of which we will all be part of, the show looks at this moment as a joyous occasion, a farewell to a place where we will never return, where politics and fiction, the future and the now, give rise to the prototype of a dystopian society.
