In the middle of the Kenyan savannah, a group of robbers, hooded with colourful striped bags, take over a resort. Surrounded by the police, they take everyone hostage, creating a powerful union between guests and staff until the day they are released. But it’s only after the robbers leave that the story gets complicated. Some people want everything to go back to the way it was before, while some people worked, others were on holiday, and other people insist that everything should stay the way it is, everyone working and everyone on holiday. To spice things up, a Portuguese family is staying at the resort and, if that wasn’t enough, they also have their own problems. Depois das Zebras is Pedro Gil’s latest illusion following performances such as Don Juan Esfaqueado na Avenida da Liberdade or Inesquecível Professor.
