What’s the connection between the Teatro Romano de Lisboa and the Teatro São Luiz? On March 27th, International Theater Day, there’s a route that connects these two cultural equipments, uniting as well the two oldest Lisbon city hills.
Lídia Fernandes, oordinator at the Museu de Lisboa – Teatro Romano, and Aida Tavares, artistic director at Teatro São Luiz, will be the hosts in a morning that begins in Rua de São Mamede with a visit to the archeological site, and followed by a stroll through the Pátio do Aljube, rua Augusto Rosa, Rua da Prata and Rua Nova do Almada, also passing by the Teatro São Carlos and arriving, finally, at Teatro São Luiz finishing with a guided tour inside the building
