Masterclass with horror master Dario Argento.
A journey through the career of the Italian master Dario Argento in a conversation led by Stefano Scaramuzzino (cultural attaché of the Italian Embassy in Portugal and director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Lisbon).
In 2018, a period of recovery of the work and person of Dario Argento began, which has lasted until the present day. It all started with Luca Guadagnino’s remake of the masterpiece Suspiria. This was followed by his participation as an actor in the moving Vortex, by Gaspar Noé, culminating in his return to the role of director in Dark Glasses, which is why he visits us for the second time. Ten years have passed since his presence in Lisbon, where we talked about his films, his technique and showed some of his most outstanding titles. This time, il maestro will talk to the public about his return, his new projects and the future of horror cinema, but also the future of the film industry.
