Ingmar invites some of his closest friends to his house for dinner. An unlikely meeting, given their characteristics, but not an impossible one. During dinner they drink, eat, rejoice and criticise each other. They raise existential questions about each other and about mankind. The dinner goes on with conversations about the uncertainties that each one has in their relationship with the other. Ironic and suspicious, Ingmar tries, with some difficulty, to moderate the effects of the conflict, which is nothing other than: the meaning of life, the depths of the soul, pain, dreams, the deepest secrets that are never revealed to anyone and that lead them to confront themselves in a place inside, agitated by cruel doubts. The rollercoaster of affections. Thought swirling in the delirious emptiness of life. The transformation of being in seemingly impossible encounters. Our weakness in the face of the certainty of the end. The being, in the flesh, of our fears and desires.
