TGB, the acronym for Tuba, Guitar and Drums, is the trio composed of musicians Sérgio Carolino, Mário Delgado and Alexandre Frazão. In 2024, they released their 4th record, ROOM 4 (Clean Feed Records), a kind of commemorative album of this super trio’s 20 years of activity. They emerged in 2003, mixing jazz, rock, folk, country and much more. In Evil Things (2010) and III (2019), they could no longer be defined by the unusual instrumentation of a tuba, a guitar and a drum, offering idiosyncratic music, without borders and invincible, making it impossible to categorize them as a trio of Fusion. In ROOM 4 they expanded their horizons in such a way and with such particular results that they definitively destroyed the label in question, confirming their own space in an ode to creative freedom. ROOM 4 is TGB’s first album consisting solely of originals.
